I’m a London gal, with a penchant for bleeps, acid, techno, interesting guitar bands and soph pop. And ‘classical’ music. And ambient. And noise. Actually, I like all sorts of music as long as it’s good. I do not consider country music good.
I’ve never thought of myself as a reviewer, but people are always asking me about the shit I do, so I thought I’d make it easier by doing this blog. It’s full of gigs and music I like, it doesn’t claim to be definitive. Hopefully you’ll find something of interest. I do like to spread la joy.
Every month I broadcast musicness on the marvellous Purple Radio. It’s generally two hours of me playing tunes I like, raving about gigs I’ve enjoyed, ranting about disappointments. If you pop over here you can find an archive (there are a bunch more over here).
